*Why do people today consider the sinking of the Titanic a significant event?  Share some individual responses.

*Thinking across the different perspectives that emerged from discussing your prior knowledge, what did you learn about the significance of the Titanic?

*Why do you think Lord represents the Titanic disaster from multiple perspectives?
