Remember to:
1. Multi-space so you can edit
2. Indent your paragraphs
3. Check that every paragraph has a topic
sentence
4. Pay close attention to use of transition words.
5. Capitalize Proper Nouns
6. Use quotation Marks around Titles
7. Use third person (he, she, it, they)
8. Avoid colloquial language (gonna, wanna, shoulda)
9. Use descriptive language (avoid stuff, things, thingies).
10. No contractions in formal papers
11. BACK IT UP! Back up claims with textual
evidence.
