Friday	Analysis of a Poem Speaker- the voice talking in the poem; the narrator of the poem (not necessarily the poet) Theme: the meaning or the main idea; usually an insight into human nature Tone-author’s attitude towards the subject Diction-author’s choice of words Sound Devices-rhythm, rhyme, repetition
